You’re home now
All questions gone
No struggles now
Pain, sorrow done

No more a poor reflection
You see Jesus face to face
By His life, death, resurrection
Glad receiver of His grace

There you’re singing
Dancing, laughing
There you’re living
Filled with joy

Now your music joins the angels
Praises, glory all to Him
Talents given back with interest
Good and faithful, free from sin

The tears I shed
I cry for me
Not for you
You‘re home free

Dear Friend

I don’t want your body
I don’t want your soul
And mine are not on offer
But I have some time to spare
If you have some
We could share and hour or so
Whatever

Time is precious so they say
I’ll give you mine today
If you could be
Satisfied to talk with me
I’m free

Promises

Never, forever and always
Words of broken promises

I’ll never leave
Forever yours
Love always

Man has no eternity
Endless longing fades

Pain like death
Sorrow so deep
Passion of power

But there is One
Who loves like that
He’s the One
Who will never turn His back

He doesn't lie
He hears your heart cry
Call on Jesus

Broken Soul

Gathering pieces
Of broken soul
Finding there’s no way
To keep what’s left behind
Eaten up by giving
What I should have kept
And keeping things
Not meant to be held
It took so long
To get this small inside
And find the bigness of your love

Paradox

You can open my locked doors
You can take away my greed

You know me, You love me
A paradox indeed

I’m crashing and burning
You’re with me

I keep learning
You forgive me

Lost on the Way

When did the rainbow merge?
The colours turn to grey?
My cloudy heart obscured Your light
I got lost on the Way

When I was a diamond
Your light made rainbows
When I was a raindrop
Your spectrum danced and glowed

This path so pleasant
Didn’t see the descent
My heart chose ease
Not the slavery that frees

Wash me again and shine through me
Cut the facets in my soul
Obedience brings liberty
Heart undivided made whole
